To ensure prompt assistance, please contact our practice at 01986873001 as soon as possible. We are committed to providing the support you need, and the sooner you reach out to us during our operating hours, the higher the likelihood of

securing a same-day appointment that accommodates your schedule.

call our number and listen to the answer phone message. It will provide you with instructions on accessing our out-of-hours emergency service, ensuring you receive the necessary care without undue delay.

  • Why do I need to see the Dentist if I have no pain?

Tooth decay and gum disease can reach an advanced stage before they become painful. At this point, treatments can become more complex and costly, and there may be a lower chance of saving the affected tooth. To prioritise your oral health, prevention is key. We strongly recommend booking six-monthly check-ups to maintain a healthy mouth.

During these check-ups, your dentist will also conduct a comprehensive mouth cancer screening. This important assessment ensures early detection and timely intervention if any signs of oral cancer are present.

By prioritising regular check-ups and screenings, you can proactively safeguard your oral health and address any potential issues before they escalate.

  • How do I know all your equipment is clean and safe?

At our practice, we strictly adhere to the latest regulations, advice, and guidelines set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) concerning equipment, cross-infection control, and decontamination. We prioritise the safety and well-being of our patients

    and staff.

To maintain the highest standards, our equipment undergoes regular servicing and maintenance. Our dedicated team receives ongoing training to ensure full compliance with all safety protocols. We take the responsibility of providing a safe

    environment very seriously.

Rest assured that when you visit our practice, you can have complete confidence in the meticulous care we take to prioritise your safety and deliver exceptional dental services.

  • Do I really need to use tepe brushes?

You already know the answer to this one! Make sure to floss the teeth you want to keep! Brushing your teeth alone, no matter how well you do it, can only clean about 70% of the surfaces. It is crucial to use a tool specifically designed for cleaning in

between your teeth. Neglecting this step can lead to gum disease, resulting in bleeding gums, unpleasant breath, and eventual loss of the bone supporting your teeth. While these issues may not arise immediately, some individuals are more

    prone to them than others.

By establishing good oral health habits and routines, you can significantly contribute

to the long-term health of your teeth and gums. Taking proactive measures, such as

regular flossing, will help you maintain a healthy smile for life.

  • What if I have Dental Phobia?

Dental phobia, which is the fear of visiting the dentist, is a common concern for many patients. It is entirely natural to feel anxious about the dental experience, whether it is due to unfamiliar tools, unfamiliar sounds, potential discomfort, or

concerns about being judged based on the condition of your dental health. At Dynamic Dental Studio, we understand and empathise with these feelings.

We prioritise a gentle approach with our patients. While we are meticulous and thorough in our dental care, we take every precaution to ensure our patients' comfort. Your well-being is our top priority. We believe that dental visits are just as

crucial as visits to the doctor, and we strive to create an environment where you can address your oral health without fear.

Rest assured that we are here to support you, alleviate your concerns, and provide

the necessary care for your oral health. Your comfort and peace of mind is our primary objectives.

  • What are the signs of mouth cancer?

Mouth cancer can manifest in various ways and can impact different areas of the mouth, including the tongue and lips. It may present as a painless mouth ulcer that does not heal as expected. If you notice a mouth ulcer that persists for more than

three weeks without signs of improvement, we strongly encourage you to visit our practice for a thorough evaluation.

At every check-up, we conduct a comprehensive cancer screening to detect any potential signs of mouth cancer. It is important to note that mouth cancer is most commonly found in patients over the age of forty who smoke cigarettes or pipes and

consume alcohol. Shockingly, mouth cancer claims the lives of over 1,700 individuals in the UK each year. However, many of these deaths could be prevented through early detection and intervention.

By proactively seeking regular dental check-ups and cancer screenings, you can play a vital role in safeguarding your oral health. Identifying mouth cancer at an early stage significantly increases the chances of successful treatment and recovery.

  • Are X-Rays Harmful?

At Dynamic Dental Studio, we prioritise your safety and well-being. That is why we utilise the latest digital X-ray technology, which significantly reduces the amount of radiation exposure during the imaging process. Rest assured that we only take X- rays when necessary to provide accurate diagnoses and personalised treatment plans.

It is important to understand that the amount of radiation received from a dental X- ray is extremely minimal. In fact, radiation is present in our environment every day. To put it into perspective, the radiation exposure from having two dental X-rays is comparable to the amount you receive during a typical flight to Spain.

We want to assure you that your health and safety are paramount to us. By using advanced digital X-ray technology and adhering to strict safety protocols, we aim to provide you with the highest standard of care while minimising any potential risks.

  • What can I do if I am unhappy with my treatment?

If you have any complaints or concerns regarding the service you have received from us or any of our staff members, we encourage you to reach out to our Practice Manager. We have established a practice complaints procedure specifically designed to address and resolve such matters in a fair and timely manner.

Your feedback is important to us, as it allows us to continually improve and provide the highest level of service to our valued patients. We take all complaints seriously and are committed to addressing them promptly and effectively.

Please do not hesitate to contact our Practice Manager to discuss your concerns. We are here to listen, understand, and work towards a satisfactory resolution. Your satisfaction and experience are of utmost importance to us, and we appreciate your trust in our practice.
